The first par 5 offers a wide fairway for the easiest tee shot of the
course. Power hitters can overswing here with no fear. The green can be
reached in two, the only problem is the lie the drive distance which is
sidehill on most width of the fairway. The only flat spots are near the
rough, so that is a question off the tee. The creek is not a real
hazard on that hole. The long, bunkerless green has gentle slopes that
can cause trouble on long putts, frequent after a long second shot.
